As a continuation of the "Part to Whole" project, this exercise focused on mapping movement and translating it into a two-dimensional architectural drawing. I applied Labanotation principles—a system for documenting human movement—to visually represent activity patterns within a space. Using both hand-drawn and digital techniques, I created an annotated map that documented qualitative inputs like sounds, styles, and uses of space, complete with a key for interpreting the different layers of information.

This project allowed me to explore how movement shapes our interactions with spaces, revealing the dynamic relationship between architecture and its users. By capturing these movements, I highlighted that spaces are not static but continually shaped by user actions. This approach demonstrated the potential of annotation as a design tool for mapping both physical space and ephemeral aspects, ultimately illuminating how architecture can enhance the activities it accommodates.
